Production Blog: MV
Before my team and I started the process, we needed to collect all our props, solidify our sets, and lightning. For the props, I already had all most of the things that were gonna be used. For example, books, a car, a suitcase, and backpacks. The only thing that wasn't in my possession were cardboard boxes which are very necessity to this Music Video. The boxes are what makes the storyline so it's essential for me to get it. The sets are going to be one of my teammates houses. Although the decision has not been made on what house it will be. I'm still awaiting for permission to use it.
Nothing needs to be purchased for the costume and makeup portions of the filming because I already have them. Since the female is a typical girl moving, the music video will feature regular clothing. Additionally, the makeup will be your typical, every day makeup.
The software is also still undecided. The choice of using CapCut or iMovie is still up in the air. On one hand, I already navigated CapCut for my previous project (the commercial) but iMovie is also easy to navigate. I haven't used it in a while but I think it could work for the project. An added point for iMovie is that its already made in landscape mode while CapCut is set to portrait mode. Even though you can change it or crop it to a different way, iMovie doesn't need that. However, both programs are available on a computer and phone which makes it easy to access at any time. Both choices are great choices but I think CapCut would be the better choice since I'm more comfortable with it.
That's all for today folks!
Catch you on the flip side! :)
