Production Blog: MV
Hey MS crew,
Today me and my group started filming the rest of our scenes that were left. Which would be the last 6 scenes of the twelve. These scenes were the most fun and interesting to film. It included the big finale and climax of our music video. It was nice figuring out how to make what we were trying to portray come to life and seem realistic.
We all met up and went to a family friend's house again. This time Marissa and I were behind the camera filming the scenes of Hailey driving and looking at her old college. This was the reminiscent scene. I again tried to make sure I was recording as smoothly as possible so the camera could see everything that she was doing. I also recorded putting in a medium long shot to give it some dimension. The next scene required me to film a moving shot of the new town where the actor is moving to. This was different for me because I got to experience moving the camera more and really getting to know my angles. I also was finding out different ways to move the camera. But as I said before, I’m the camerawoman. Because of this, I am absolutely dedicated to my job. Sorry for the wait MS Crew, but you still will have to find out how this scene will look in the next few blogs. I have a lot of things up my sleeve! Maybe some more than last time. *wink wink*
The automobile crash sequence, which concluded our day of filming, was quite stressful for us. Since we are all perfectionists, we wanted it to be as good as it could be. Several attempts were required to obtain the shot. But in the end, we succeeded after all the trouble. It was a lot of fun to film the competition; now to the editing!
Later Potato!
