Production Blog: Final Task

 Hey MS crew,

Today was the first day of filming and we had a blast! Let me give you the run down for Day 1 of the process. First, Hailey, Marisa and I, texted each other to figure out what time we were gonna meet to start our final task. We agreed on meeting on a later time since we envisioned the scenes to be set at night time. Especially since we wanted to really emphasize the horror genre.

The official time was around 6:00 because it gets later at the time and we didn't want it to be to late because of our schedules and school work. We started at Marissa's neighborhood and started practicing before we actually filmed it. By the way, for this scene it was just Marissa and I. Moving on, we wanted to make sure that the scene seemed as natural as possible and not too scripted. It took some trial and error but we eventually got it. Not to mention we are friends so with a little bit of laughter and a lot of distractions, it took some time. However, we are #academicwepaons so we did it! This concluded the first couple of scenes of our final task. 

The next scenes we did were still placed at Marissa's house, however this time was different. Instead of being outside, we were inside now. It also now starred Marissa and our guest actor. Which was.... *cue dramatic effects* Marissa's brother! Now because we had a guest actor it was definitely a rollercoaster experience. I can't say too much this time but next time you guys will get all the tea! *wink wink*
