Production Blog: Final Task

Hey MS crew,

It's the final day of editing, which means it's time for the collaborative stage with Marissa, Hailey, and me. We sat down and discussed what we liked and didn't like about the project. The changes we made weren't huge, but they were just right and honestly made a huge difference.

Working with my teammates Hailey and Marissa in the editing room has been an enriching experience where our strengths and weaknesses complement each other seamlessly. Hailey's creativity knows no bounds; she brings fresh and innovative ideas to the table, sparking inspiration in our editing projects. However, she sometimes struggles with the finer details, which is where Marissa shines. Marissa's meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of our edits is polished and refined, leaving no room for errors. On the other hand, while I excel at seamlessly piecing together clips and ensuring smooth transitions, I may occasionally overlook creative nuances, which Hailey effortlessly captures. Together, we create a dynamic editing team that brings out the best in each other. Despite our differences, we share a common goal of producing high-quality edits that resonate with our audience.

As the main editor, I did oversee everything and still made some personal tweaks that Hailey and Marissa were okay with. I tried to perfect it to the best of my ability and use all the feedback that I gathered from my groupmates. The whole experience felt amazing, and I'd totally do it again in a heartbeat. I personally love editing so this was no problem for me.

We managed to get everything done in a timely manner and made sure to produce the best possible outcome. However, one specific thing we couldn't agree on was the type of music we wanted to use. We debated back and forth until we decided to take a vote on what was best. After the vote, we made our choice, and it worked out perfectly in the end. We also decided to use Royalty free music since it was copyright free. This allowed us to not have to wait a long time to gain permission and not pay for anything either if that was a requirement. Even though we made the choice to use royalty free music, we were a little hesitant because weren't sure what choices we would be presented with and if we would like any of them. But we did end up liking them and it was the best decision for us!

Well, this was fun, but that's all for now friends!
